Founder

John R. Benitez

John Benitez is an attorney and investor whose work has run through commercial real estate, minerals and aerospace, with a career-long focus on negotiation and legal structuring. He founded Orbital Properties to apply that experience to the commercial side of space.

His practice covers strategic asset management, market access, regulatory strategy, negotiation and brokerage for satellite and space assets. He has served as a professional staff member in the U.S. Senate, as lead industry negotiator for the U.S. uranium industry on the Atomic Energy Act Amendments, and as counsel to the Colorado Baseball Commission.

He is a licensed Colorado attorney and real estate broker, and a professional speaker on negotiation strategy.
